Alumni Build Day
The 2019 competition season marks the 30th for FRC! Fitting then that this year's theme (Destination Deep Space) marks the anniversary of another incredible milestone...the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 and the first walk on the moon! As if that wasn't enough excitement, this season will also mark FRC's last "Stop Build Day!" In recognition of our team's remarkable history over the past 12 years, we are opening the 2080 shop to our alumni on Saturday, February 9th. Come be a part of the engineering design process for this historic season!
Alumni Forum
FIRST sums it up perfectly in the tag line, "It's the hardest fun you'll ever have!" The friendships developed throughout the course of the intense FRC build and competition season are truly unique. There are definitely experiences in FIRST that only other alumni can understand.

Reconnect with former teammates in a forum just for our 2080 Alumni.
We Need You!
We need your input to help us in collecting needed metric data to include in STEM equity grant requests and to share with community and regional leaders.
Starting this season the team will be generating periodic newsletters to update alumni on team initiatives to promote STEM and further our impact throughout our region.
We need your input to make this happen!
Alumni Events
At the request of several alumni, we are currently working to develop a series of alumni events to help former team members reconnect. Our Alumni Build Day on Saturday, February 9th is the first of these efforts. We would welcome your input as we continue to develop this new initiative.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are always looking for volunteers interested in helping us mentor new FLL Jr, FLL, and FTC teams. On Saturday, February 23, we will be hosting our first regional FLLJr Showcase at HHMS. We will be looking for volunteers to help us with serving as reviewers. Louisiana FIRST is also always looking for volunteers to assist with regional FLL, FTC and FRC events.
